The short version: this is a static education website. It has no accounts, no logins, no forms, and no advertising. It does not collect or store your personal information, and it runs no analytics or tracking. What little happens is explained plainly below.

This policy is about this website only. It is separate from your clinical care. Any personal health information created or handled when you are seen at St. Michael’s Hospital is governed by the hospital’s own privacy practices under Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act, not by this website.
We do not collect or store your personal information on this website. There are no sign-ins, no contact forms, and no accounts. We do not run analytics, we do not use tracking or advertising cookies, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we never sell or rent information. We do not run marketing campaigns and we take no advertising or sponsorship on this site.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. As with any website, the host’s servers automatically record standard technical information when a page is requested, such as the requesting IP address and browser type. This is ordinary server logging used to deliver the site and keep it secure, and it is handled under GitHub’s privacy practices. We do not receive a report of who visits.
Two features load content from Google, which means Google receives your device’s IP address when they load. The site’s typefaces are served by Google Fonts on each page, and the contact page includes an embedded Google map. The map may set a Google cookie for visitors who open the contact page. Their use is covered by Google’s privacy policy. No other outside content is loaded into our pages, and links to other websites do not share anything until you choose to click them.
This website sets no cookies of its own. The only cookie that may be set is by the embedded Google map on the contact page, described above. There are no tracking or advertising cookies anywhere on the site, which is why you will not see a cookie consent banner.
Because we hold no personal information about you through this website, there is nothing on our side for you to access, correct, or delete.
