For referring physicians.

We accept adults with confirmed or suspected idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, and we are the provincial referral point for adolescents with juvenile myositis transitioning to adult care. Patients are seen jointly by rheumatology and rehabilitation, with neurology and subspecialist input through dedicated pathways. Reports return to your chart, so the patient stays yours.

• Fax the completed referral form to the clinic, with relevant labs, imaging reports, and consultation notes.
• Send the myositis-antibody panel early where possible. Do not delay referral awaiting EMG or muscle biopsy.
• The team triages records before booking, so the first visit is matched to the patient's needs. Outpatient referrals only.
